It takes 45 minutes by ferry to reach Jolly Buoy island from Wandoor Mahatma Gandhi National Park, which is located 30km from Port Blair by road. Make sure to reach Wandoor Mahatma Gandhi National Park before 9 A.M. All boats depart at the same time and return back together. Prior permission and entry tickets should be presented to avail this trip. You can submit your permit and trip request to get the tickets and permits booked on your behalf. Forgetting the permission, photographs and id are required. If you don’t have the relevant documents, you have to stand in a long queue in front of the Tourism office to avail permission.
